I find FileFinder easy to use and quick. Our aim is to start taking advantage of more and more of the system – to help us with business management, staff development and a bunch of other things. The potential is just enormous, and it is helping us become better at what we do.

The Background:

Swann Global is an international executive search firm, with offices in Australia, Asia, Europe and across the Americas. The business is focused exclusively on the Natural Resources and Industrial Sectors. The business had grown quickly and, as part of a complete IT restructuring, the firm decided a new database system was required.

The Challenge:

Swann Global had a very demanding wish list. They required a system which could be hosted in the Cloud, and which would be available worldwide to users with PCs, Macs and mobile devices such as iPads. Peter Arkell, Managing Director of Asia, explains: “The old system, which was very basic, was inadequate for the needs of our global operation. We were looking for a system that was more integrated.”

The Solution:

In July 2011, Swann Global decided to implement FileFinder as its global CRM and database tool. Its database is now hosted in the Cloud with users having the option of accessing the database via a direct connection or Citrix. Peter comments: “FileFinder gave us the position to help us better manage the business; it wasn’t just a candidate and client management tool, and that attracted us.”

The support team spends so much time with us that they make us feel like we are your only customers – I sometimes wonder how your business can afford to deliver such a high level of service!
