FileFinder has given our team a much more efficient way to prioritizing their outreach and strategy when having multiple searches going on at the same time. I would be happy to recommend FileFinder to search teams at other Universities.
Prior to FileFinder, we mainly used Excel workbooks to keep track of our prospects and outreach for each of our searches. MS Outlook was our email client for mail merges and email communication.
Since implementing FileFinder, we have much more easily been able to snapshot where we are in our active recruitment for each search – we have the ability to see in real-time how many candidates we have, how many are considering the opportunity, and how many have told us they aren’t interested. Being able to quickly and easily see this on a day-to-day basis gives us the information we need in order to make decisions on whether or not we need to pivot our recruitment strategy. Having a log of all activity (emails, phone calls, journal entries) has also been a great asset as far as being able to look back at the data and productivity of our group that we did not have previously. Another great aspect of FileFinder is having the ability to attach documents when we send out mail merges – something we weren’t able to do before.
Having all of our prospective candidates’ information in one database instead of multiple excel sheets has been much more effective and efficient. Our recruiters have been able to see quickly the history of their contacts and conversations with each of their prospective candidates. FileFinder has given our team a much more efficient way to prioritizing their outreach and strategy when having multiple searches going on at the same time. I would be happy to recommend FileFinder to search teams at other Universities.
